  • Support periodic compliance reviews and post-update accessibility checks
  • Contribute to audit-ready documentation suitable for compliance, governance, and oversight

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience conducting formal accessibility audits
  • Direct experience authoring or materially contributing to ACRs / VPATs
  • Strong working knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Experience mapping WCAG success criteria to Section 508 requirements

  • Proficiency with accessibility testing tools (e.g., axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, ANDI) and manual testing methods
  • Strong written documentation skills with attention to audit defensibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience auditing WordPress or CMS-based websites
  • Experience supporting government, nonprofit, or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with accessibility governance, remediation planning, and compliance reporting

  • DMV-based candidates (Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Northern Virginia) are strongly preferred due to logistical coordination and potential in-person collaboration needs
  • Highly qualified remote candidates within the United States may also be considered

Engagement Notes

  • This role is not expected to be full-time and will be engaged on an as-needed, project-based basis
  • Work will be scheduled in defined audit, remediation validation, and reporting cycles
